ICBI - REDCap Policies

REDCap is a secure, web-based application for building and managing online surveys and databases. Using REDCap's stream-lined process is an extremely efficient way to rapidly develop and deploy online research data collection and management instruments. REDCap provides many capabilities including automated export procedures for seamless data downloads to Excel and common statistical packages (SPSS, SAS, Stata, R), as well as a built-in project calendar, scheduling modules, ad hoc reporting tools, and other advanced features, such as branching logic, file uploading, and calculated fields to name a few. We provide services in the areas of project setup; reuse of standard forms for data collection; ongoing maintenance; and customization of data input forms, reports, and data integration.

Below are the rates offered to our Georgetown University, GHUCCTS affiliated investigator s and Collaborating Institutions.

1) 1 year project : $450 per project. Charges include one year of hosting, system maintenance and access to all installed REDCap features and modules. After one year, the project will be archived automatically unless a new REDCap Service request form is submitted prior to the one year anniversary.

2) 3 years project: $800 per project for the 3 years period, charges include project hosting, system maintenance and access all installed REDCap features and modules. After three years, the project will be automatically archived unless a new REDCap Service request form is submitted prior to the three year anniversary.

3) 5 years project: $1100 per project for the 5 years period,charges include hosting, system maintenance and access to all installed REDCap features and modules. After five years, the project will be archived automatically unless a new REDCap Service request form is submitted before.

4) Customization and expert support: We offer free 2 hours of consulting per project. Additional support is provided at $160 per hour for projects requiring customized solutions and extensive support including automated batch upload of data, custom report creation, custom software development, and systems integration using the REDCap APIs. An estimate of hours required will be provided prior to the initiation of work.
